SCNP Art in Nature Day
- When: Saturday, July 24, 2021, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
- Location: Stevens Creek Nature Preserve and Center, Charlotte NC.
- Cost: Free
Challenge yourself to create unique sculptures, mandalas, mobiles or any type of art using easily-found natural objects. This family-friendly, self-guided activity requires only your creative juices (all other materials provided). Start at the Nature Center for more information; submit a photo of your creation to enter to win a private kayak tour! Ongoing from 10am-4pm.
Notes: Pre-register or drop-in. Dress for the weather and to walk 1-2 miles on easy to moderate trails.
Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation follows all CDC guidelines and Governor’s orders. Participants are expected to wear a mask indoors at all times and outdoors only when participants are less than 6’ apart. At that time, we will ask everyone to wear a mask. If you cannot, you will be asked to stand more than 6’ away for everyone’s protection.
