SCNP Intro to Archery
- When: Friday, July 9, 2021, 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
- Location: Stevens Creek Nature Preserve and Center, Charlotte NC.

Bows and arrows are some of the oldest tools humans have ever used, and still use to this day. Pre-teens and teens get a grip on basic terminology, practice proper form and safety with a recurve bow, then loose their new-found knowledge with a little target practice. No experience necessary; all safety equipment provided. Additional dates for this program are July 23 and July 28 same time.
Notes: Pre-registration required 48 hours before start of program. This is a drop-off program; required drop-off paperwork will be sent from Camp Docs upon registration.
Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation follows all CDC guidelines and Governor’s orders. Participants are expected to wear a mask indoors at all times and outdoors only when participants are less than 6’ apart. At that time, we will ask everyone to wear a mask. If you cannot, you will be asked to stand more than 6’ away for everyone’s protection.
