4th of July Dog Parade
- When: Saturday, June 26, 2021, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm
- Location: 1000 Johnston Dr, Pineville, NC 28134
- Cost: The dog parade is free to participate.
Large Shelter at Pineville Lake Park
Dust off your Red, White & Blue and join us for this afternoon fundraising event "4th of July Dog Parade & Vendor Fair" to benefit Charlotte Black Dogs (Charlotteblackdogs.com) & Pineville Neighbor's Place. (pinevilleneighbors.org)
The Dog Parade is FREE to participate in or just to come and watch. The Parade will start after the Dog Contest. (around 4:30pm)
The Patriotic Dog Costume Contest will start at 4pm. ($5. to enter per category) with PRIZES. You may enter as many categories as you wish.
The categories are:
1. Most Patriotic Male or Female
2. Most Patriotic Couple or Group
3. Most Creative (Theme should be 4th of July related so you have some leeway on your creation)
4. Funniest (Theme should be 4th of July related so you have some leeway on your creation)
Please come early for Microchip Checks courtesy of Subaru South BLVD & CMPD Animal Care & Control.
The local businesses attending are:
Charlotte Black Dogs, Pineville Neighbor's Place, Barry's Chairs, Carolina Funnel Cakes, Eclatant LLC, Live Laugh & Lather, The Peaceful Paw, Pet in the City and Pumpkin Dog.
Plan on getting your photos done at the Photo booth with festive backdrop & props and Live Laugh & Lather is providing nail trims. (Both activities are FREE with any donation)
Please bring a small bag of dog or cat food or treats to donate to Pineville Neighbor's Place.
PLEASE-NO RETRACTABLE leashes allowed.
(Dogs should be friendly and up to date on all shots)
