Catawba Village Open!

• Location: The Schiele Museum of Natural History 1500 E Garrison Blvd, Gastonia, North Carolina 28054

This interpretation of 400 years of Catawba Indian culture, adaptation, and survival is a must see for visitors interested our region's rich heritage. Visit a prehistoric bark-covered house, council house and log cabins. The Catawba Indian Village is open daily through the summer Monday - Saturday 10 AM - 4 PM, and Sunday 1:30 - 4 PM. Weather permitting.
This Catawba Village is located on the Nature Trail. Admission is free to visit the site. The museum reserves the right to close the site without notice.
