Somethin' Pumpkin: Photo Contest by Somethin' Pumpkin: Photo Contest

Take a photo of your favorite 2021 “Somethin’ Pumpkin” moment for a chance to win prizes!
To be eligible, the photograph must have been shot by the entrant during 2021 and have a pumpkin theme. Creativity is encouraged! Photos can include people, pets, places...just make sure it has a Somethin’ Pumpkin theme.
Contest rules:
By submitting your photo, the entrant certifies that their submission is an original photo, and that they are the creator and copyright owner. Digitally altered photos are not eligible to win. If your photo features a person, you must be prepared to submit a model release form or, if a minor is included, signed permission from the subject’s parent or guardian.

Photo entries cannot be changed after the registration deadline.
Each person can enter only one photograph per category.
Photo Contest includes three categories:
Youth (ages 8 - 12)
Youth (ages 13 - 18)
Adult
Judges will name one official Somethin' Pumpkin Contest winner in each age division. There will also be a People's Choice winner in each age division, based on public Facebook voting. All photos will be available for People's Choice voting on the Gaston County Public Library's Youth Service Facebook page at facebook.com/gcplyouthservices beginning on Monday, October 18th and ending at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, October 22nd.
Winners of both the Official Somethin' Pumpkin Contest and the People's Choice Contest will be announced virtually on Saturday, October 23th from 1-2PM. A link to the virtual awards ceremony will be provided to entrants.
Library will contact winners to arrange pick up of prizes on Monday, October 25th.
