Primitive Skills Workshop: Gourd Working

• When: Saturday, November 6, 2021,  8:00 am -  5:00 pm
  
• Location: The Schiele Museum of Natural History 1500 E Garrison Blvd, Gastonia, North Carolina 28054

Participants in this workshop will learn the uses and manufacturing processes for making gourd implements such as containers, instruments, ornaments, and various other items used every day in prehistoric lifestyles.
All workshop participants are asked to bring the following:
• Personal Protective Equipment (protective eyewear, mask, gloves, etc.)
• Sharp pocketknife or sheath knife
• Notebook
• Pen/Pencil
