SCNP Mussel or Hustle?

Heelsplitter…Elktoe…Sheepnose…what creatures have such silly names? Freshwater mussels! Test your knowledge about these fascinating but often-overlooked species, interact with our giant mussel exhibit, and take home tips to help mussels in your backyard streams (yes, there are mussels in Charlotte!) Open to all ages but best for 7+.
Notes: Pre-register to reserve your space; drop-ins taken up to 15 maximum. This program takes place entirely inside the nature center, so masks are required for everyone ages 5+. Please bring your own mask or staff can provide one as needed.
