Matthews Athletic Recreation Association is hosting Get Outside & Play Day on Saturday, February 1, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Arthur Goodman Park, 1200 S Trade Street, Matthews, North Carolina.

This free event promotes youth sports, outdoor fun, and healthy habits.

Kids will have the chance to explore a variety of sports, make new friends, and discover the joy of staying active. Whether throwing a football, swinging a bat, or simply running free, this day celebrates the power of play to build confidence, foster connections, and inspire a lifelong love of movement.

10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: Get Outside and Play: Community-Wide
Celebrate Get Outside and Play Day at MARA with a fun-filled day designed for kids of all ages—from preschoolers to high schoolers. This community-wide event offers a fantastic opportunity to explore the wide range of sports and camps MARA offers.
