Curious about when certain flowers bloom? When do we start hearing Spring Peeper frogs? When do the trees get their leaves? Each month we will spend time getting to know this urban preserve through observation and exploration. This will be a phenological journey through the forest as we take note of our findings and discuss seasonal changes. This will be a slow-paced walk with lots of stops for gathering information and having discussion. Meet at RibbonWalk Nature Preserve; 4601 Nevin Road; Charlotte. (Ages 12 - 17 must be accompanied by an adult) Must call 980-314-1119 to register.
