During spring, wildlife rehabilitators need lots of supplies to care for orphaned and injured baby animals. We'll be throwing a “baby shower” to provide aid to local rehabbers. Bring a gift, listen to a fun baby animal story and play a few shower games to learn about wild little ones.
Items needed include: Paper towels, Paper towel tubes, Toilet paper tubes, Unscented bath and face tissues- no lotions, Old bath towels, Large washable/reusable hospital or adult pee pads, Baby blankets, “Flat” newspaper- no staples or shiny ads, Vinyl/Latex exam gloves, All/Tide Free and Clear or, Dreft Baby Detergent- no dyes or fragrances, Vet wrap, Bleach, Dish soap, New/packaged brooms and mops, New/packaged feather dusters for baby birds, Dry Erase Fine Tip Markers, Kaytee Exact Hand Feeding Formula for birds, Bulk Dried Meal-worms, Dry Erase Markers- Fine Tip, Shelled pecans, Whole, unsalted peanuts and Gift cards for produce.
