The North Carolina Music Hall of Fame will host its 8th Annual Rhythm & Run 5K fundraiser. The road race will be held on Saturday May 18, 2019 at 8:00am near downtown Kannapolis. Registration will open at 7:00am. The event will include a ½ mile kids fun run titled the “Half Note Fun Run” for children 12 and under. The Half Note fun run will begin at 8:00am and the 5K Race will begin at 8:30am. Start and finish line location will be announced at a later date due to construction in the downtown area.
Half Note Fun Run registration for children 12 and under is $10.
The Rhythm & Run 5K is an annual fundraiser event for the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame & Museum, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All proceeds from the Rhythm & Run 5K will go to the NC Music Hall of Fame Museum.
You may register to run or walk the event online at: RhythmAndRunRace.org. Registration for adults is $25 from now until May 18. On race day the fee will increase to $30.
Walkers and beginners are welcome and jogging strollers are permitted. Parking is available in the downtown area. Group discounts are also available to groups of 10 or more registrants. Call The North Carolina Music Hall of Fame at (704) 934-2320 for a rate.
The primary purpose of the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame is to recognize, promote and commemorate the musical heritage of the State of North Carolina. Musicians, singers, songwriters, music executives, and producers from all genres of music are honored and displayed at the museum located at 600 Dale Earnhardt Blvd Kannapolis, North Carolina 28081. The museum is open Monday to Friday from 10 am until 4 pm with an one hour break from 12pm till 1pm due to lunch.
