Arthropods are all around you every day, even in the cold winter, including spiders, centipedes, mites, ticks, lobsters, crabs, shrimp, crayfish, krill, barnacles and scorpions. These invertebrates typically have a segmented body, jointed limbs and an outer shell that molts.
