Get dirty this Earth Day at the Charlotte Museum of History!

Become a naturalist for the day and learn about:
- Bee-keeping and honey production with Cloister Honey
- Native plants on a walking tour of the museum grounds with Dr. Larry Mellichamp, a UNC Charlotte biologist
- Charlotte's little-appreciated creeks, which shaped our city, with City of Creeks champion Mary Newsom
- How Whitewater Middle School students are helping Charlotte become a zero-waste city.

Other special guests include representatives of the Catawba River Keeper Foundation, Crown Town Compost, Carolina Thread Trail, and the Charlotte Herb Guild.
