8th Annual Tour de Turns Cycling & Walking Event
- When: Saturday, August 24, 2019, 8:00 am - 2:30 pm
- Location: 2365 Carmel Rd, Charlotte, NC 28226
Join us Saturday, August 24th for this unique charity bicycle ride and walk winding through beautiful South Charlotte neighborhoods. Riders can choose 15, 25, 37 and 62 mile routes while walkers can choose either 2.5 or 4.5-mile routes, all routes with plenty of shade! We also offer a Kids’ Bike Rodeo by Bikin' Dads Adventures and Closed Loop Course within the safe confines of Carmel Road Neighborhood Park.
Best of all, Tour de Turns benefits Loaves & Fishes Charlotte Mecklenburg, a 501(c)3 network of emergency food pantries in Mecklenburg Co. that provides groceries for neighbors in need.
After your ride or walk, enjoy our “Under the Shade Trees Festival” including Live Music by Natty Boh Duo, a Craft Beer Garden by The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, Lunch by Harris Teeter Catering, several thousand $ worth of Raffle prizes. Lunch is included for all registrants and non-registrants can purchase.
Like last year, we offer (2) two options for Registration. The Fundraiser option is only $5 and you earn awesome Rewards. Pay registration starts at $45 and increases with time.
