National Honey Bee Awareness Day

Beekeepers at the Charlotte Regional Farmers Market will be passing out free honey recipes and answering all your bee related questions from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm. Honey bees and humans have a working relationship that goes back for many years. In North Carolina, honey bees were selected as the State Insect to recognize their vital role in agriculture.
