Hummingbird Festival at Reedy Creek Nature Preserve

Be amazed by Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds who are ready to make a 500+ mile journey back to Central America for the winter. This will be a send-off celebration for all migratory birds who spend the summer days in Charlotte. Guest speakers, nature walks, food trucks, games and community organizations will be sharing fun activities to better understand our role in the natural world. Ornithologist Susan Campbell will be sharing her experiences documenting Hummingbirds and their long round trips across America.
