President Polk's Birthday Celebration

Our annual celebration of James K. Polk's birth right here in Mecklenburg County is always a blast! Bring the whole family and enjoy historic cooking demonstrations, spinning, laundry, militia displays, take-home crafts, games, and the chance to wish President Polk "Happy Birthday" when you sign his giant birthday card with a feather quill! Admission is free for members of the Friends of President Polk's Birthplace or $5.00 per car for all other visitors.
