El Grito Mexican Independence Festival

La Raza and La Zeta radio stations host North Carolina’s largest free Mexican Independence Day Celebration. Charlotte Hispanic community’s most significant event, also known as “Fiestas Patrias” features musical entertainment from internationally acclaimed bands, cultural dances, large sponsor activations, an appearance by the Consul of Mexico, elected officials and dignitaries from the area.
