The Carolina Renaissance Festival located in Huntersville is a medieval amusement park, a 14-stage theater, a 25-acre circus, an arts & crafts fair, a jousting tournament, and a feast... all rolled into one nonstop daylong adventure! Attend the 2019 festival on Saturdays and Sundays, October 5th thru November 24th. This is a rain or shine event running each day from 10am to 5:30pm.
CRF is the perfect autumn activity for the whole family, boasting games, rides, shows, and shops for all ages. The Lord Mayor has decreed that the entire realm make merry to welcome its reigning monarch, Her Majesty Queen Isabella. Magicians, comedians, acrobats, jugglers, musicians, chefs, and craftspeople have all gathered to transport you, our honored guests, back in time to the charming village of Fairhaven.
Be enchanted by fantasy creatures such as Twig the Fairy, Fireflicker the Dragon, and the Living Mermaids! Be amazed by skilled historical demonstrations from the glassblower, the blacksmith, and the Lord Mayor's Household. Cheer your favorite knight in a joust, try your hand at archery or ax-throwing, and feast all day long on bread bowl stews, Scotch eggs, cinnamon roasted almonds, ale, mead, and the festival favorite: turkey legs! Peruse shops and meet the makers of beautiful jewelry, pottery, books, maps, leather goods, swords, candles, kilts, and cosplay accessories.
