Veterans Motorsports is fueled by PS Morgan’s Veterans Outreach, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to assist veterans who are suffering from PTSD, known or unknown, to assimilate back into the civilian world. Veterans Motorsports is designed to enable Veterans with a continued purpose and direction. By providing hands-on experience and activities through teamwork and a common goal through Motorsports. The staffing of mechanics, fabricators, welders, painters, and pit crew will be mainly employed by Veterans Motorsports and training will be provided by career professionals already working in the industry. PSMVO helps to evaluate individual veteran’s needs whether it be a ride to a medical appointment, employment, education or just the camaraderie with other veterans.

Come enjoy Cards for Veterans with Lake Norman Teen Council, Uncle Sam, and local organization/clubs. All veterans and families are encouraged to join us for the festivities. Local clubs and organizations wanting to participate in the parade or celebrations are encouraged to reach out for more details on how to get involved. Parade applications are now available at the Huntersville Parks and Recreation office or by emailing Downtown Events and Facility Coordinator, Alison Ahrens, and are due by Friday, October 18, 2019.
