Veterans Day Program at Cornelius Veterans Monument at Rotary Plaza

Join the Town of Cornelius and American Legion Post 86 for our annual Veterans Day Program, honoring military veterans and those currently serving in our Armed Forces.
Commander Gene McKinney and Post 86 will lead the ceremony that will include:
-Welcome - Mayor Woody Washam
-Invocation Prayer - Reverand Ellison Bowman
-Post the Colors - American Legion Post 86, W. A Hough Junior ROTC, and ----Hopewell Junior ROTC
-Performance by the W.A. Hough High School Concert Choir
-Keynote speaker - Brigadier General, J. R. Gorham, retired
-21-gun salute by American Legion Post 86
-Patriotic songs by Rockie Lynne
-Retire the Colors - American Legion Post 86, W. A Hough Junior ROTC, and --Hopewell Junior ROTC
-Closing Prayer - Reverend Ellison Bowman
