4th Annual Bless Back Chili Cook-off
- When: Saturday, February 8, 2020, 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
- Location: Lenny Boy Brewing Co. 3000 South Tryon Street, Charlotte, North Carolina 28217
Come join us and enter your best chili in the competition or just to enjoy unlimited chili samples. Then cast your vote to crown a winner in categories like “Best Overall”, “Tongue Burner” and “Most Creative”. The winner’s will receive a cash prize!! Enjoy live music, raffles and family-friendly fun, with all proceeds benefiting the programs of Bless Back Worldwide in Haiti and Nicaragua.
Think Your Chili Has What it Takes to Win???
Competition Guidelines:
$25 entry fee paid with registration; each team will receive a cook-off apron and be able to participate in tasting
You need to decide on a chili or team name
• Chili categories : Best Overall / Tongue Burner / Most Creative Vegetarian
• You must make at least (3) gallons of chili-this is equal to 2 regular crockpots full
• Teams will be provided with tasting cups, spoons, napkins, plastic gloves, team sign, a space to set up and access to an electrical outlet
• Teams must provide a chili warmer (to keep the chili at 140 degrees or above for the duration of the event), a ladle for serving and an extension cord.
Teams must stay for the duration of the event and be present for the 3:30 PM winner announcement.
• All proceeds go to support Bless Back Worldwide’s sustainable initiatives in healthcare, business and education.
