Shimmering Holiday Lights and Favorite Rides - Only for Season Passholders
On November 6 and 7, Season Passholders can get an exclusive sneak peek into Carowinds’ transformation to WinterFest, starting with one of the largest and most impressive Christmas light displays in the Carolinas.
When our fall events, SCarowinds and Great Pumpkin Fest, end on October 31, Santa’s elves immediately take over to prepare for WinterFest. While the elves are usually hush-hush about their progress to decorate the park for the holidays, they have agreed to allow Season Passholders a sneak peek into their handiwork. Their first mission? Deck the park with 5 million shimmering, sparkling lights – and Season Passholders are the first to see it.
In addition to a dazzling Christmas light show, Season Passholders can enjoy thrills on select rides. All family rides in Camp Snoopy are open, plus two popular thrill rides – Copperhead Strike and Afterburn.
