An aluminum framed clear plastic “box” will house a life-size version of a common childhood toy.



The inspiration for Impressions comes from the childhood toy that most of us are familiar with! You know the one - the little 4”x 6” plastic tray that has hundreds of metal pins attached to it. Most of us have placed our hands (or our faces!) against the tray to reveal an impression of our “thumbs up” or “peace sign”. This project will make a colorful interactive life-size impression box. An aluminum framed clear plastic “box” will house a life-size version of this same childhood toy. This interactive art piece will give Charlotteans an opportunity to make their own ‘impression’ on the city!
