SCNP: Basics of Geocaching

What is Geocaching? It's an outdoor adventure activity using a GPS unit or smartphone to find hidden "treasure" around your neighborhood, park and city. Experience the mystery and excitement of this world-wide outdoor activity as you learn the basics in our introductory class. Best for ages 5+ but open to all.
Pre-registration required; online up to 3 days in advance or call 980-314-2526 ext. 0 if less than that. Be prepared to walk up to 2 miles over easy-moderate natural surface trails; bring a water bottle.
As of February 26, 2022, masks are optional at all times while on Mecklenburg County property.
