SCNP: National Bird Hike Day

Grab your binoculars and hit the trail in search of beautiful birds in their wintry habitat. In honor of National Bird Day this week, a naturalist will also outline current avian issues and what you can do to help.
Pre-registration required; online up to 2 days in advance or call 980-314-2526. Not a drop-off program; an adult 18+ must register and participate with children ages 7-17. Dress for the weather including closed-toed hiking shoes; bring a water bottle. Be prepared to hike up to 2 miles on easy/moderate natural surface trails. Bring your own binoculars or borrow a pair from us.
