Annual Fire Truck Festival Returns

Saturday, June 24 from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Join us for the hottest event of the year! You’ll get to meet firefighters from across the state, get a close-up look at the equipment they use, vote for your favorite fire truck, and have a fun family day at the museum. During your visit, enjoy activities and train rides throughout the day. At the end of the festival, watch the parade which begins at 3:15 p.m.

Norfolk Southern Lawmen Band – 10 a.m., 12:15 p.m., and 1:45 p.m.
Norfolk Southern “Operation Awareness and Response” first responder’s safety train and locomotive
Members of the N.C. Transportation Museum enjoy this daytime event, including the train ride, for free. Members are encouraged to reserve their tickets online.
