Footloose The Musical

Kick off your Sunday shoes with Ren and Ariel as they navigate through small town politics and fighting for what they believe in.
Footloose is the story of Ren McCormack, a teenage boy from Chicago. He and his mother move to the small town of Bomont after his father abandons them. Upon arriving, Ren finds himself at odds with most of the town, including the Reverend Moore. The Reverend has convinced the town to outlaw dancing, which Ren finds unbelievable. With the help of Ariel (the Reverend’s daughter) and Willard (a country hick who becomes his best friend), Ren convinces the Reverend to let the teenagers dance, and in the process helps the town to heal from a tragedy that affected them all.
Audiences of all ages will adore this adaptation of Broadway and cinematic hit, Footloose The Musical, from the creative minds of Tom Snow, Dean Pitchford, Kenny Loggins, and Walter Robbie.
Recognized for its exceptional entertainment, Lanti Performing Arts has selected sixty-six young talents, aged 13 to 18, from across Union and Mecklenburg Counties. The immersive production includes the expertise of technical director, Joey Nicholson, a creative team of artists, and is led by power duo and co-directors, Lindsey Bennett and Sarah Lantigua.

ABOUT LANTI PERFORMING ARTS
Established in 2013, Lanti Performing Arts is one of the leading performing arts schools in the heart of Union County located in Indian Trail, NC. They offer a variety of music lessons, acting classes, musical theatre productions, mommy & me music, special workshops, and summer camps.
