Family Day at McColl Center is for toddlers, teens, and everyone in between! We invite the whole family to join in on a day of making art inspired by our current exhibitions and artists. After you create your work, take a tour of McColl Center to see what's in the galleries!
This event is all about our current exhibition American Honey! While visiting for Family Day visitors can participate in the following activities:
Felt Self-Portraits: Craft a vibrant self-portrait using felt, drawing inspiration from the colorful creations of Colin J. Radcliffe.
Oh Honey Vessels: Team up with other Family Day attendees to glaze a ceramic vessel, inspired by Paul Maloney’s playful "Oh, Honey" designs.
Mini Landscape Paintings: Design your own striking landscape painting, inspired by the bold and dynamic scenes of James Parker Foley.
Catalina Cheng Coloring Page: Pick up a coloring sheet and bring Catalina Cheng’s signature characters to life with your own creative touch.
A reminder to parents that the artwork in this exhibition contains unclothed figures.
