Carolina Montessori Academy

Carolina Montessori Academy is a nonprofit corporation and was established in Charlotte, NC in 1990. It adheres to a philosophy and method of education designed to develop creative, independent children with a zest for learning.

The school is directed by Mrs. Norma Culbreth and Mrs. Dorothy Ponton. Norma is AMS certified and has over twenty five (25) years of experience working with children. Dorothy has thirty (30) years of experience working with children in the classroom.

Carolina Montessori Academy is accredited by the State of North Carolina and is recognized by the American Montessori Society.
