City of Kannapolis Village Park

Visitors to Village Park can also enjoy a leisurely ride on the Rotary Express Train, a g-24 scale replica CP Huntington engine and three coaches.

The Train will be open weekends only beginning Saturday, April 6, 2024. Weekend hours will be Saturdays (10 a.m. – 7p.m.) and Sundays (noon-6 p.m.) until Memorial Day.

Beginning Saturday, June 3 through Sunday, August 13 the train will be open daily. Hours will be Monday - Saturdays (10 a.m. – 7p.m.) and Sundays (noon-6 p.m.)

The train will again operate on weekends only (10a.m. – 7p.m, Saturdays; and noon – 6 p.m. Sundays) August 19 through October 15, 2024. The train will be open Labor Day, Monday, September 4, from noon-6 p.m.

Tickets are $1.50 per person.
