Mint Hill Founders Park

Mint Hill Founders Park is a 28-acre property purchased in 2014 .

The playground features separate toddler and big kid areas, inclusive features for kids with special needs, and is the largest of its kind in Mecklenburg County.

In addition, the park features a 1.3-acre dog park features separate areas for small and large breeds and a shaded seating area and over a mile of family hiking trails. The playground and dog park are lit for use after sunset.

The playground and dog park are open daily from 7:00 am – 10:30 pm. The trails are open during daylight hours only.
