Reedy Creek Park and Nature Preserve

Reedy Creek Park is a 146-acre park located in North Charlotte near Concord with an abundance of activities for all ages and interests. This park has a basketball court, softball field, soccer field, cricket field, two horseshoe pits, four volleyball courts, a community garden, 18-hole disc golf course, three ponds, a fishing pier, picnic shelters, playgrounds, and a dog park. Also an inclusive playground and a 10-mile hiking trail located near the nature preserve.

Reedy Creek Nature Center and Preserve offers a variety of educational programs for all ages. The nature center features live, native animals, an exhibit hall, a classroom, a gift shop and the Dr. James F. Matthews Center for Biodiversity Studies.
