York County’s Ebenezer Park is a 26 acre park located north of Rock Hill on the shores of Lake Wylie’s 13,443 acre lake that borders both North and South Carolina.

Swimming
The swimming area is open year-round for swim at your own risk. There will be NO lifeguards on duty. The swimming area is enclosed by the circular pier. Water shoes and life jackets are recommended. No swimming is permitted outside of the designated swim area.
Pets in the Water Policy:

Pets are never allowed in the swimming area. However, pets may enter the water outside of the swimming area Monday – Thursday around the boat ramps, when the area is less congested with boat traffic. The area can be east of the boat ramps but not to extend beyond shelter 2. Friday-Sunday pets can enter the water in the cove to the left of the boat ramps (where it is more secluded and less congested with guests). Pet owners are prohibited to enter the water with their pets from park property.
During the off-season:
Pets can swim at any location in the park with the exception of where there is high volume boat traffic at the boat ramps. Pet owners are prohibited to enter the water with their pets from park property.
Boating and Fishing
Fishing and boating opportunities are available to visitors. If you are age 16 or older, you will need a valid South Carolina fishing license to fish in the SC waters of Lake Wylie. Licenses can be purchased at area convenience stores, sporting goods stores and bait and tackle shops. Also can be purchased from the Ebenezer Park Ranger Station (Monday-Friday 8am-5pm). A valid photo ID is required.
Ebenezer Park has three public boat ramps that are open from daylight to dark. Guest who are boating after dark are never locked in the park and can exit at anytime.
The boat docks and ramps are for loading and unloading of boats, please do not block ramps or leave boats unattended while tied up to the docks.
Bank fishing is restricted on or within 50 feet of the boat ramps, boat docks and swimming area.
Pets are allowed but must be kept on a leash. For your convenience, pet stations are located throughout the park.
Night Access Cards are available to purchase in the Ranger Station for boaters interested in using the boat ramps after-hours. For additional information, click here or call the park office at 803-366-6620
The park does not provide boat rentals, kayaks, or canoes.

Persons interested in hosting a fishing event at the park must submit a Fishing Venue Agreement to be approved by County Council. Click here to obtain a venue agreement. Please allow 4 weeks for approval. Contact park office for more information.
