Ramsey Creek Park at Lake Norman

Ramsey Creek Beach is a waterfront beach featuring a swimming area at Ramsey Creek Park. This 46-acre park also has boat launching opportunities and docks, a playground, picnic shelters, nature trails, fishing pier, enclosed dog park and a volleyball court.

Ramsey Creek Beach is now closed for the season.
2024 Hours
Operational hours will be 12pm-6pm.
The beach's opening will be Saturday, May 25 at noon. We will be open all weekends including Memorial Day on Monday, May 27th. This site will be weekend only until June 12th. Starting June 12th, the beach will open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
The beach will stay open during the week until August 23rd and then transition to weekends only until Labor Day. The site will shut down Labor Day, Sept. 2 at 6pm.
