Whitewater Kayaking at U.S National White Water Center

One of the major advantages of kayaking at the USNWC is the consistency of quality rapids and limited amount of flatwater. Paddlers with whitewater boats and gear can enjoy our whitewater channels nine months out of the year. Considering the inherent risk, all kayakers should have previous experience in Class III whitewater and be able to perform a reliable combat role. Additionally, kayakers must provide their own boat, helmet, paddle, spray skirt, and personal flotation device. Professional whitewater kayaking instruction is available.
