YMCA Ballantyne Theatre

Experience the excitement of creative dramatics! Story books and creative play combine in this fun adventure that builds confidence, creativity, literacy and social skills. Young performers learn beginning theatre concepts and vocabulary while developing essential life skills. New stories are explored each session to create a unique experience for returning participants. Each class concludes with a Sharing for family and friends featuring the young actors. All classes are held at the Ballantyne Arts Center.
-Acting Explorers(Grades K-2nd).
-Little Stars (Ages 2-3 years).
-Rising Stars (Ages 3-5 years).


Ballantyne School of Theatre:
ages 3rd-12th grade

The Ballantyne School of Theatre provides a scaffolded theatre training program for youth interested in the craft of acting and performance. Students develop theatre technique and vocabulary as they progress through the program levels in Acting or Musical Theatre. Classes conclude with a Showcase featuring the students and highlighting the work done throughout the year. All classes are held at the Ballantyne Arts Center.
