Learning to communicate with people from other parts of the world and valuing cultural differences are critical components of twenty-first century learning. That is why Charlotte Preparatory School is committed to preparing its students with an age-appropriate mastery of a foreign language. To create the richest possible learning opportunities, our curriculum focuses on Spanish.

Every Charlotte Prep student begins Spanish classes in kindergarten, after receiving introductory lessons in Early School. Classes meet with our dedicated Spanish teachers as follows:
•Kindergarten-4th Grade: Twice per week.
•5th Grade: Four times per week.
•6th Grade: Three times per week.
•7th-8th Grade: Five times per week.
