Charlotte Youth Rowing

Charlotte Youth Rowing is one of only two youth rowing teams in the Charlotte, NC area. The team is a club, thus is not associated with any specific high school. Currently, over 20 high schools in North and South Carolina are represented on the team.

Charlotte Youth Rowing is co-ed team open to boys and girls starting from middle school through 12th grade. We row out of Catawba Yacht Club on Lake Wylie (near the Palisades).
Charlotte Youth Rowing Practice: Practice for Charlotte Youth Rowing is run at Catawba Yacht Club on Lake Wylie. Practice normally runs from 4:30 to 6:15. Depending your level of experience different numbers of practices are offered each week. Novices have practice Tuesday-Thursday and Saturday morning. Varsity practices are available Monday through Saturday.
