SCNP Family Firefly Hike

Fireflies…lightning bugs…moon bugs…whatever you call them, come catch them at Stevens Creek! Hike out at dusk to witness this favorite summer-time phenomenon. Discover the secret to the firefly's glow and all the reasons they flash.

Notes: Pre-registration required 48 hours in advance. Register every participant (children and adults); under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. This hike qualifies for the 100 Mile Hike Club; expect to walk up to 2 miles on trails over uneven trails with moderate terrain. We'll supply firefly-friendly headlamps (no flashlight needed).
