PuppetPalooza 2024!

Charlotte Mecklenburg Library and Children's Theatre of Charlotte in partnership with Sigmon Theatrical present PuppetPalooza at ImaginOn.
Join us on Saturday, February 3rd from 10:00am-4:30pm at ImaginOn (300 E. 7th St.). This puppetry festival will be an all-day, non-stop, FREE family-friendly event celebrating the joy and art of puppetry, and all ages are welcome.
Participating puppetry troops include Ed's Dinos Live, The Lurnsters, Grey Seal Puppets, Ms. Melanie Puppetry, and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library Frontline Puppeteers, with special presentations by Jeghetto Entertainment and the Jim Henson Center for Puppetry Arts.
Children's Theatre of Charlotte will be offering a limited number of discounted tickets for festival patrons to their production of Pinocchio in the McColl Family Theatre, and they will also be offering free day-of tickets to their preschool puppet show, The Lion and the Little Red Bird.
Pop in for one show or stay for them all, meet our giant roving puppets, explore our balcony exhibit of past puppets from Children's Theatre shows, try your hand at puppet karaoke, make a paper bag puppet to take home with you, and stick around for our puppet parade at 4:30. Hope to see you there!
