Free entrance day in the National Parks

Calling all adventure-loving families! If you enjoy exploring new places, why not plan a trip to one of our amazing National Parks? There are over 400 of them, where you can have fun outdoors, learn cool history, discover incredible nature, and so much more!

Guess what else? If you have a 4th grader in your family, you can visit ANY National Park for FREE all year long! It's a fantastic way to see some incredible places together.

Did you know that lots of National Parks don't even have an entrance fee? And for those that do, there are six special days in 2025 when EVERYONE can visit for FREE! Mark your calendars for these Free Entrance Days:

January 20: Celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday
April 19: The start of National Park Week
June 19: Juneteenth National Independence Day
August 4: Celebrating our Great Outdoors
September 27: National Public Lands Day
November 11: Honoring our Veterans
