Family Day: Movement in the Museum

Families of all kinds are invited to a free Family Day at the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art! Enjoy hands-on art-making activities and join our community partner, Expand Movement, for interactive dance and movement sessions—fun for all ages!

Schedule of Activities:​
10 AM – 1 PM
• Explore the galleries with our Movement in the Museum guide
• Reimagine artworks through movement activities led by Expand Movement dancers
• Practice sketching with tabletop wooden mannequins in the Bechtler Classroom

10:30 AM – Music and dance for all abilities with Expand Movement

12:15 PM – Second workshop with Expand Movement
12:45 PM – Dance party on the plaza!

$10 off parking provided at the Levine Center for the Arts parking garage. Admission is free but RSVPs are encouraged.
