Charlotte Museum of History Creepy Collections Highlight

Step into the shadows of history for a special Creepy Collections Highlight at the Charlotte Museum of History. Just in time for Halloween, this after-hours event brings out some of the eeriest objects from the museum’s collection, including a Funerary Necklace, a Scythe, and a Scarificator used in early medical practices.

Guests will get the rare opportunity to see these unsettling artifacts up close and hear the haunting stories behind them. Then, venture outside for a candlelight tour of the historic homesite, where flickering lanterns and centuries-old walls set the perfect mood for an evening of spine-tingling history.
