SCNP: Squirrel Appreciation Day Hike

January 21st is National Squirrel Appreciation Day! Celebrate these marvelous mini mammals by taking a walk through their forest home. Explore their habitat, behaviors, food sources, learn about their role in the environment, and maybe even see a few springing through the branches! Pre-registration required. This hike qualifies for the 100 Mile Hike Club; expect to travel 1 mile on natural surface trails with easy/moderate terrain. For babies/toddlers, off-road-type strollers are ok or use a body carrier. Prior to the program, the instructor will email important information on how to prepare, what to bring, etc.
