Charlotte Model Water Tower Competion

Calling all student scientists, grades 3 through 8! NC One Water and Charlotte Water are hosting a Model Water Tower Competition right here in Charlotte on Saturday, May 9!
Competitors can work as individuals or in groups of up to four. Winners are determined by the tower’s structural and cost efficiency, ability to hold water, aesthetics, and capacity for quick filling and draining.
Students will learn concepts related to water resource engineering, infrastructure, water treatment and water conservation.
