Kids’ Catfish Tournament

The Catfish Tournament is an annual fishing tournament in July. This year, we are adding senior's into the tournament. We will have a pond for kids 15 & under and a pond for Seniors. This is the perfect opportunity to introduce your kids to fishing. All kids MUST be accompanied by an adult. Adults are not permitted to fish in the kids pond during the tournament. Prizes will be awarded.

The Kids Catfish Tournament is part of the NC Wildlife Resource Commission's "Fish for Fun" events. This 2026 event will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Dallas Park beginning at 8am. Event will be held at the two ponds by shelter 2 at the end of Leisure Lane.
