ImaginOn Super Saturday - ImaginOn's Birth-YAY!

Once a month, Children's Theatre of Charlotte and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library celebrate our partnership by offering a free Super Saturday for our community.
On Saturday, October 10, from 11 a.m.–2 p.m., we're throwing a party to celebrate ImaginOn's Birth-YAY! Join us for an afternoon of birthday fun, community celebration, and plenty of opportunities to make unforgettable memories.
Kick off the festivities with Creative Canvas Productions, who will once again transform our front walkway into a giant collaborative Birthday Chalk the Walk masterpiece. Families of all ages are invited to add their own colorful birthday wishes and artwork as we celebrate everything that makes ImaginOn such a special place.
From 11 a.m.–1 p.m., we're planning Mascot Mania, a community celebration featuring mascot appearances from local organizations and City of Charlotte departments. Families can meet a variety of friendly characters, enjoy high-fives and photo opportunities, and celebrate alongside some of the community's favorite faces.
We're also inviting several featured mascots from Charlotte's professional sports teams to make special appearances throughout the event. While appearances are subject to confirmation, we're hoping to welcome a lineup of beloved mascot friends for family-friendly meet-and-greets and photos between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Stay tuned for updates as participating mascots are confirmed!
At 1 p.m., gather for a birthday-themed performance by The Amazing Mr. Archer, an award-winning balloon artist with more than 20 years of experience creating imaginative balloon sculptures and interactive entertainment for families. His high-energy show is sure to add one more colorful surprise to ImaginOn's birthday celebration!
Whether you're snapping photos with your favorite mascot, adding to our birthday chalk mural, or enjoying a balloon-filled finale, there's something for everyone at this special celebration.
