SCNP: Snail Mail with the Snails

Dear Ms. Snail, May I practice writing with you and all of your friends? I have so many questions about how to write a letter. Like “Where does a stamp go?” “What is a stamp!?” “How much would it cost to mail something to Australia?” I want to bring back the joy of writing to other emerging writers, like me! Could we become pen pals, where I write you stories or questions about the animals? We could meet the snails and other slow-crawling things too! From, Your most excited new friend! This class combines letter writing practice with animal encounters. Participants will have the opportunity to become pen-pals with the nature center animals and send/receive written notes on a regular basis.
Pre-registration required. Not a drop-off program; children must be accompanied by an adult. This program takes place inside the full accessible Nature Center.
