UNC Charlotte Academic Summer Camps

UNC Charlotte’s academic summer camps spark curiosity and build confidence in learners of all ages. Campers explore topics like LEGO robotics, nature, math, art, and more through hands-on experiences led by expert instructors in an energizing campus environment.

Cool School (Rising Grades 1-4)
Introduces younger campers to exciting weekly topics like STEM, space, and theater through age-appropriate, hands-on activities. With support from dedicated instructors and camp counselors, kids explore, create, and learn in a fun and safe campus setting.

49er Minors (Rising Grades 5–8)
Camps help middle-grade students explore their passions and discover new interests, from technology and coding to visual art and beyond. Subject-matter experts offer something new, fun, and future-focused each week in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Niner Academy (Rising Grades 9–12)
Gives high school students the chance to dive deep into a subject they love — no tests, just real-world exploration. These one-week specialty camps combine accelerated learning with group discussions and hands-on projects, inspiring campers as they shape what’s next.
